We had a home karaoke evening on Saturday!

This karaoke session was very loosely Hallowe'en themed. Sometimes we stuck to the theme; Rei opened with a magnificent rendition of 'Margaret Thatcher, Blood Snatcher' by THWACK!, and Tem's 'Hell Is Forever' from Hazbin Hotel and 'Rest in Peace' from Buffy were great fun. I recently watched Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, the new Pokémon film. An enjoyable experience, but an odd one. It's a lot like the dream you might have if you fell asleep halfway through marathoning early Pokémon episodes and End of Evangelion came on. I've hugely enjoyed the last couple of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend episodes ('Will Scarsdale Like Josh's Shayna Punim?' and 'Josh Is the Man of My Dreams, Right?'). In particular, I'm loving the Nathaniel storyline. I played a couple of hours of Oxenfree last night! It's very pretty and colourful, which is an interesting design choice for a horror game. All the landscapes sort of look like they've been made out of coloured paper.
